UGC models cast by on-camera type, setting and age band

A UGC model is the person your viewer sees holding the product, and that face decides whether the ad feels like a friend's recommendation or a stock clip. UgcModels works like a modeling agency's book for UGC: you browse adult, ID verified creators by on-camera type, setting and age band, watch their real portfolio clips, and book the exact person you picked with the usage rights written into the order.

What brands mean by UGC models

In a classic shoot, a model poses and a crew makes the picture. In UGC, the model is also the camera operator, the set designer and often the writer of the line that sells the product. They film on a phone in their own bathroom, kitchen, car or living room, so the result looks like something a real customer would post. That is why casting matters more than production value: the right person in the right room carries the ad.

On UgcModels every creator has a comp card, the same idea as the card a modeling agency hands to a casting director. It shows the on-camera type, the age band, the settings they can film in, the platforms they know, their gear, languages and standard turnaround. Next to it sits a rate card with a price per format, so you know the cost before you send a single message.

  • On camera, voice only, or hands only.
  • Age band 21 to 29, 30 to 39 or 40+.
  • Settings the creator can film in at home or nearby.
  • Platforms and aspect ratios they deliver natively.

Cast the face your buyer trusts

Start from your customer, not from the creator. A meal kit for busy parents needs someone who looks at home in a real family kitchen. A protein bar for lifters needs someone who knows how to move in a gym without looking staged. A budgeting app for first jobbers needs a person who reads naturally talking to a phone at a desk. The comp card lets you filter for exactly these signals.

Three on-camera modes cover almost every brief. On camera creators speak to the lens and carry testimonials, reactions and routines. Voice only creators narrate over product footage and screen recordings, which suits apps and gadgets. Hands only creators keep their face out of frame and focus on texture, assembly or unboxing, which suits jewelry, skincare droppers and kitchen tools. You can mix all three inside one shortlist and compare them side by side.

Many teams book two or three different faces on the same script and let paid results pick the winner. Our hire UGC creators guide walks through comparing comp cards before you book.

Settings that make a clip believable

The room is half of the story. A creator who owns a bright bathroom vanity is a natural pick for skincare. A creator with a garage gym or access to a local gym fits supplements and fitness gear. A tidy kitchen with counter space carries food, cookware and small appliances. A car interior is the classic place for honest talking head testimonials, and a clean desk works for apps, tech and productivity tools.

Filter the roster by setting, then open the portfolio clips and check light, sound and clutter. Daylight from a window reads as real; a single harsh ceiling bulb makes products look cheap. If a niche needs a specific space, the matching niche page shows what to look for, for example skincare UGC creators or fitness UGC creators.

SettingFits bestWhat to check in the portfolio
Bathroom Skincare, haircare, oral care Even light on skin, clean counter
Kitchen Food, supplements, cookware Counter space, no competitor packaging
Gym or outdoors Fitness, apparel, hydration Stable framing while moving
Desk Apps, SaaS, tech accessories Clear screen recording, quiet room
Car Testimonials, travel, auto accessories Clear voice, safe parked shots
Living room Home goods, pets, gadgets Calm background, natural light

Age bands, adults only

Every creator on UgcModels is 21 or older and passed an ID check before their profile went live. Comp cards show an age band instead of an exact age, so you cast by the audience you sell to while the creator keeps personal details private. The three bands are 21 to 29, 30 to 39 and 40+.

Use the band your buyer recognizes as a peer. Products for mature skin, joint support or retirement planning usually start in 40+. Starter apartments, campus to career apps and first car accessories often start in 21 to 29. Household products, family food and subscriptions tend to work across 30 to 39 and both neighboring bands, which makes them a good fit for testing several faces at once.

What UGC models cost

Creators set their own price inside the platform rate bands and keep 100 percent of it. The platform fee of your plan sits on top, from 12 percent on Starter down to 3 percent on Enterprise.

FormatPlatform rate band
15 s clip USD 100 to 200
30 s clip USD 150 to 300
60 s clip USD 200 to 450
Photo set of 5 USD 120 to 250

Running the clip as a paid ad adds a rights uplift to the creator rate: 3 months plus 30 percent, 12 months plus 60 percent, perpetual plus 100 percent. Organic use on your own channels is included. The full breakdown sits on UGC creator pricing, and the UGC usage rights guide explains each tier.

From comp card to delivered clip

  • Search the roster and filter by on-camera type, setting, age band, platform and rate.
  • Add the people you like to a shortlist and compare their comp cards.
  • Send one structured brief with the script, shot list and rights tier.
  • Receive the delivery in about 5 business days and approve it or use one of 2 revision rounds.
  • Payment goes to the creator after approval, or 5 days after delivery without a response, and the rights record is stored on each asset.

FAQ

Are UGC models professional models

Some have modeling or acting experience, most are everyday people who film well on a phone. What counts is the portfolio, so judge each creator by their real clips rather than a headshot.

Can I book a specific person rather than whoever applies

Yes. That is the whole point of a casting book. You pick the exact creator from search and send the order to them, so nobody you did not choose ends up in your ad.

How do you verify age

Every creator confirms identity with an ID check before the profile goes live, and only adults aged 21 and over are accepted. Comp cards show the age band, not the birth date.

Can I cast creators who never show their face

Yes. Filter by voice only or hands only. These creators are a strong fit for unboxings, demos, recipes and screen recordings.
